The
Technical Services Division is organized to provide engineering services to the
community.
This is accomplished by serving as a link in the organizational chain
to bring together the engineering functions of design, contract management,
inspection and records with all City Departments, other governmental
agencies, and the public.
The
Technical Services Division prepares plans and specifications for all City
projects, reviews plans prepared by consulting engineers for subdivisions
and commercial developments, inspects all public works projects, subdivision
and all other construction within the public right-of-ways in the City
limits and inspects all water distribution and sanitary sewer collection
system installations within the City’s service area.
Technical Services
administration is directed toward fulfillment of customer service,
maintaining the public health, safety and welfare, managing cost control and
problem solving with a professional and dedicated staff.
